Most wild animals seen in this part of North America can be found somewhere on Eagle Ridge Ranch. Most of our homeowners keep binoculars near their windows and several have invested in high-power telescopes so that we don’t miss a sighting. On the ranch, we have seen porcupines, ermine, foxes, coyotes, badgers, beavers, mountain lions, black bears, elk, mule deer, bobcats and even (we think) a lynx. In 2014, the first moose was sighted. Most evenings in the summer, you will hear coyotes howling; in the fall, you can hear the elk bulls bugling. Nature feels very close.
